Procopé & Hornborg advises Etteplan Plc on the acquisition of Koodain Solutions Oy

The acquisition of the Jyväskylä-based Android expertise and software solution company Koodain Solutions strengthens Etteplan’s expertise particularly in Android software design. Eleven experts from Koodain Solutions will transfer to Etteplan as existing employees and co-operation with subcontractors will also continue. The transaction will boost Etteplan’s ability to respond to customers’ digitalisation challenges and will enhance its expertise in mobile system software development.
Etteplan provides design engineering services, technical documentation solutions along with embedded systems and IoT services to the world’s leading companies in the manufacturing industry. In 2017, Etteplan had a turnover of some EUR 215 million. The company employs over 2,800 experts in Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and China. Etteplan’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki main list.
