We acted as the Legal Advisor to Firstbeat Technologies Oy and its shareholders on the divestment of the Consumer Licensing Business unit Firstbeat Analytics Oy to Garmin Ltd Group.
Firstbeat Analytics is a leader in the market of physiological analytics and metrics for wearable products. Its business consists of the development of such analytics and licensing them to be used in consumer products.
Firstbeat Technologies Oy shall continue its operations through its Professional Sports and Wellness businesses, providing tools for the physiological assessment of performance for professional athletes as well as for enhancing wellbeing in workplaces.
Garmin is a Nasdaq-listed global manufacturer of sensor and navigation technology products for personal use, road and marine transport, and aviation.
