Nynomic AG group develops and produces contact-less optical high-tech measurement systems for a wide range of applications. After the transaction part of Nynomic AG, there are six companies; Spectral Engines Oy, LayTec AG, APOS GmbH, Avantes B.V., tec5 AG and m-u-t GmbH with their subsidiaries.
Spectral Engines is a Finnish company founded in 2014 with its headquarters in Helsinki. The core technology of Spectral Engines consists of MEMS-based spectral sensors which have been developed as a disruptive approach to extremely miniaturized and cost-effective material sensing applications. In 2016, Spectral Engines won the Prism Award of best Photonics Innovation and the EU Horizon Prize as a best Food Scanner technology in 2017, showing the fast progress of the company and their technology offering. Spectral Engines is able to offer turn-key material scanner solutions in the industrial and consumers sensing applications.
