Procopé & Hornborg acted as the legal advisor, together with Accura Advokatpartnerselskab as the local legal advisor, to Etteplan in its acquisition of TekPartner A/S, a Danish engineering and IT company specialised in electronics and software.
TekPartner covers the development of all core disciplines within embedded software, intelligent electronics, FPGA (field-programmable gate array) and IoT (Internet of Things). In 2019, TekPartner´s turnover amounted to some EUR 8 million.
In line with its growth strategy Etteplan intends to expand its business in the Nordics. With this strategic acquisition, the company opened up operations in a new country, Denmark.
Etteplan provides solutions for industrial equipment and plant engineering, software and embedded solutions, and technical documentation solutions to the world’s leading companies in the manufacturing industry. In 2019, Etteplan generated a turnover of approximately EUR 263 million. Etteplan’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
Procopé & Hornborg guided the project to a successful outcome according to the pre-set goals. Thanks to its international network andseamless cooperation with the local advisor, the cross-border project forms a solid start for Etteplan’s Nordic growth.
