Procopé & Hornborg acted as Legal Counsel to Axflow Group, part of Axel Johnsson International, in the acquisition of the majority stake of shares in Starline Valves Oy from its management and other shareholders. Starline Services S.P.A. Italy remains as strategic partner and shareholder in the company.
Axel Johnson International is a global industrial group of 150 companies in 30 countries and part of Swedish family-owned corporate group Axel Johnson. Axel Johnson International is organized in six business groups: Driveline Solutions, Fluid Handling Solutions, Industrial Solutions, Lifting Solutions, Power Transmission Solutions and Transport Solutions. Axflow Group is one of the leading suppliers within the industry of pumps, valves, and many other equipment and instruments in Europe.
Starline Valves Oy, founded in 1994, is a Finnish industrial company, headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, and functioning in wholesale, retail trade, import and export of European origin industrial valves and pneumatic actuators.
The acquisition strongly supports the growth and development of the Axflow Group in Finland and complements the strategy of Axflow to add valves to its existing product range, and thus expand Axflow’s product portfolio to meet customers’ needs.
