Procopé & Hornborg advised Etteplan Oyj in its acquisition of LCA Consulting Oy

Procopé & Hornborg acted as the Legal Advisor to Etteplan Oyj in its acquisition of LCA Consulting Oy, which is a company specialized in expert services in sustainability. The company’s services are divided into two main sectors, carbon footprint and life cycle assessment. The customer base of LCA Consulting consists of companies, waste management, communities, cities and other public sector.
 
The acquisition of the company strengthens Etteplan’s expertise in environmental consulting. In the future, Etteplan will be able to navigate its customers in a more sustainable direction even more extensively. With carbon footprint calculation, the environmental impacts contributing to climate change of products, services, buildings or systems can be identified while the life cycle assessment provides information about the environmental impacts of products, services and systems during their life cycle.
