Procopé & Hornborg advised Etteplan in its outsourcing contract with Stora Enso’s subsidiary Efora Oy

Procopé & Hornborg advised Etteplan in the process of outsourcing Efora Oy’s Veitsiluoto Mill Engineering operations to it. Efora Oy is a company specialized in industrial maintenance and engineering services, and it is a subsidiary of Stora Enso which is a Finnish-Swedish lumber industry company. A maximum of 21 Efora project managers and project engineers will transfer to Etteplan as existing employees in August 2021.
This outsourcing contract strengthens the position of Etteplan in smart factory maintenance engineering and its relationship with Stora Enso and Efora. The outsourcing also enhances the market position of Etteplan in Northern Finland due to the already existing contacts in the process industry.
Etteplan Oyj is a Finnish company which provides solutions for industrial equipment and plant engineering, software and embedded solutions, and technical documentation solutions to the world’s leading companies in the manufacturing industry. In 2020, Etteplan’s turnover was approximately EUR 260 million. Etteplan’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
