Procopé & Hornborg acted as the legal advisor to Haltija Group Oy, a leading Finnish wellness and rehabilitation solutions provider, in the strategic divestment of its Made-To-Measure Orthotics & Prosthetics business to Respecta Oy.
As a part of the same transaction, Haltija further strengthened its core competencies through the acquisition of Respecta’s Technical Services business, which consists of maintenance services for major healthcare providers in the Helsinki region.
Haltija Group Oy, a portfolio company of Sponsor Capital, is a Finnish company operating in the fields of wellness technology as well as offering comprehensive solutions for various support and rehabilitation needs. Haltija had a turnover of approximately EUR 27 million in 2019, with over 100 professionals employed.
