Procopé & Hornborg acted as the legal advisor to Viafin Service Plc on its acquisition of the majority of shares in Astepa Oy. The acquisition represents a step in the expansion of Viafin’s industrial maintenance services into the new customer segments.
Viafin is a Finnish listed company specialized in the industrial maintenance services throughout Finland. Their customer base consists mainly of large globally operating European companies. In 2019, the company had a turnover of EUR 49.7 million and it is listed in Nasdaq Helsinki First North list.
Astepa Oy is an industrial maintenance company founded in 1994 and operating from its office in Lappeenranta. Astepa Oy’s clients include large industry companies from paper and stone industry, SMEs, and private individuals. After the implementation of the transaction, Astepa Oy will operate as an independent part of the Viafin Service Group.
