We successfully represented a Finnish subsidiary of a French listed corporation in ad hoc arbitration proceedings concerning the supply of defective machinery against a supplier where claims and counterclaims amounted to approximately EUR 2 million. The tribunal found that our client had the right to terminate the supply agreement and ordered the supplier to refund the purchase price to our client. Further, the tribunal rejected the supplier’s counterclaim and ordered the supplier to bear the costs of the arbitration including our clients’ legal fees.
