Procope & Hornborg acted as the legal advisor for funds managed by Sponsor Capital Oy in the sale of CompAid Group Oy, including its subsidiary Haltija Group Oy, to Berner Oy. Haltija Group is a leading Finnish company specializing in assistive technologies and services. The company provides comprehensive solutions to various support and rehabilitation needs as well as wellness technology to professionals and consumers. Haltija Group has 126 employees and in 2020 its turnover amounted to EUR 25 million.
Berner Oy is a Finnish family company established in 1883 with a diverse product portfolio and six business units. Haltija Group Oy will strengthen the Berner Pro business unit that currently covers products relating to healthcare, laboratories, animal welfare, professional cleaning, and kitchen hygiene.
The transaction remains subject to customary merger control clearance.
