Procopé & Hornborg advised Ensto Oy on its acquisition of majority stake in Maviko Oy. Maviko specializes in electricity distribution services and smart secondary substations and its experts have a strong know-how in energy infrastructure, earth fault current compensation in electricity distribution networks and substation contracting. In 2022, the company had a turnover of approximately 11 million euros.
The acquisition supplements Ensto’s growth strategy and its vision to become a leading expert for Distribution Systems Operators. Ensto is a growth-oriented family business and technology company, which creates smart solutions for electricity distribution networks. Ensto employs around 900 professionals in Europe, Asia and North America. In 2022, Ensto generated a turnover of EUR 170 million.
